MEMBERS ONLY SHOOTING CLUB

The club is dedicated to the shooting sport of Silueta (silhouette) shooting and competitions as originally introduced in Mexico and later imported to the USA and now is shot all over the world. The competition is designed for all shooters and all experience levels. Each shooter competes only against other shooters classified in the same class. The expertise of each shooter is evidenced by their classification book which is updated each time they shoot.

Competitions include pistols, rifles and black powder. It is shot with 22 rimfire and center fire calibers in both pistols and rifles.

TARGETS! TARGETS! TARGETS!

Each Member is responsible to bring appropriate targets and target stands / frames for shooting their weapons. No targets are provided except a couple of swingers when operational.

NO SHOOTING OF ROCKS, TREES, CHAIRS, TIN CANS OR THE RAILS.

You can bring cardboard boxes, targets, silhouettes etc. and / or your own orange clays and target frames. Your other option is to shoot at the berms only. Please clean up your own mess when you leave and pick up all used targets and supplies and discard in the trash cans provided.

If you cannot bring your own targets etc. please go shoot at another shooting range.

IT IS NOT YOUR RIGHT TO TEAR UP OUR SHOOTING RANGE. 09/23/14

50 BMG IS BANNED FROM SHOOTING AT OUR RANGE!!

Recent activity at the range by some individuals shooting a 50 BMG has been noted. Please stop them and get the names of the individuals and forward to the webmaster or the club president. If they do not comply, please call the Comal County Sheriff's office for assistance.

This caliber completely destroys the berms and will have to be fixed. PLEASE HELP US TO MONITOR THIS KIND OF ACTIVITY.
